Important Last Minute Staging Details You Need To Remember When You Sell Your House
Remembering the little details when staging your home will make it more appealing to potential homebuyers, likely resulting in better offers coming in sooner!
A lot of time and effort goes into preparing your house to be listed for sale. Before placing their home on the markets, most sellers spend months cleaning out clutter, performing maintenance and repairs to prevent conflicts during escrow, and will revamp their home’s curb appeal with a fresh coat of paint or new landscaping. After putting in all that time, money, and effort, it’s absolutely essential you stage your house well or else all your hard work could go unnoticed. On this episode of “Sell This House,” Host Tanya Memme reviews last minute home staging tips to ensure your home looks perfect at every viewing appointment. Check out the clip below to learn more!

We always love Tanya’s tips because they are practical, affordable, and most importantly, they really work! For example, depersonalizing a refrigerator by removing pictures, magnets, and notes only takes a few seconds but helps potential homebuyers picture themselves living in your home instead of your family. We also loved the idea of rearranging furniture between rooms to best showcase your home, as it makes a big difference without putting even the smallest dent in your wallet. Lastly, we thought adorning the home with fragrant flowers and using bed sheets as tablecloths was a nice way to dress up the house.
Of course, you never know how much notice you will have before each showing with interested homebuyers. While sometimes you’ll know well in advance, you may also receive spur of the moment viewing requests. In these situations, make sure to accomplish as many of these last minute home staging tips as you possibly can. Generally keeping your home clean and clutter-free while it’s on the market will certainly be a benefit to you because your home will essentially be show-ready all the time. But for viewings and open houses where you do have advance notice, don’t skimp on your last minute home staging to ensure your house makes the best impression possible and stands out from any potential competition!
